FRIENDS XI ARE THE NEW 2007 MIDWEST CRICKET LEAGUE CHAMPIONS !!


FRIENDS XI beat KCCC in the finals to become 2007 MWCL CHAMPIONS. Finals was a great match with nail biting finishing. Friends XI team played to its strengths and displayed excellent allround cricket throughout the season. Friends XI team had beaten defending champions UMKC CC in semi finals before making their way to the title clash with KCCC.


Besides the recognition and awards given out for the Champions and Runner-Up Teams, the following were also awarded for their performances during the course of the season:

Best Bowler: Satish Khot - Friends XI, 16 Games - 27 Wickets

The UMKC MYSTICS beat GREENHAWKS CC in the Final to retain the championship trophy for the 2006 Midwest Cricket League Season. Mystics showed an allround display of their strengths and played excellent cricket throughout the season. They continued where they left last season to defend their championship in emphatic fashion, while providing some nerve wrecking moments.This marks the end of the Midwest Cricket League 2006 Season.

The UMKC MYSTICS beat Pak Eleven CC in the Final to claim the Title of Champions for the 2005 Midwest Cricket League Season. The Mystics stuck to their successful method of bowling the opponent out to a low total, and acheiving the target to win their games, all through the play-off's.This marks the end of the Midwest Cricket League 2005 Season.

Past Champions : "KCCC PREMIERS" ARE THE 2004 MIDWEST CRICKET LEAGUE CHAMPIONS


The KCCC Premiers beat Green Hawks CC in the Final to claim the Title of Champions for the 2004 Midwest Cricket League Season. The Final couldnt have been any more appropriate with the top two ranked teams in the league facing each other. There were some great batting performances by both teams, but it was the depth in the Premiers batting lineup that took control of the 2nd innings batting. This marks the end of the Midwest Cricket League 2004 Season, with an All Star Game to be played this Saturday, between the Champions versus The MCL All Star Team: A team comprised of the best players from each of the remaining league teams.

The Midwest Cricket League would also like to thank all the Teams, Representatives, Captains & Players for providing great action and entertainment for a Wonderful 2004 Season.
The League would also like to thank the City of Kansas City, MO, Parks & Recreation Dept AND the City of Topeka for its support and cooperation in helping us promote the sport of Cricket in the Midwest.
The League would also like to thank all the supporters, fans and audiences who attended the games for their sincere interest in cheering for their team and promoting the game.

The League will begin registration for membership for the 2005 season in Nov 2004. If you have a team or are interested in joining the league, please contact the League.
This is not the end of the 2004 Cricket Season. There are couple of other tournaments to be held in Kansas City by KCCC and our Friends in Iowa by the Cricket League of Iowa. More information shall be posted as it is available to us.
